Pesticide & Agrochemical Cabinets

Pesticides and agrochemicals must be stored securely, away from people, livestock and watercourses, with spill containment built in. These pesticide and agrochemical cabinets are designed for farms, growers, groundskeepers and grounds-maintenance teams that need a compliant, lockable store for plant-protection products.

Each unit is robustly constructed with all-formed welded seams for strength and improved protection from fire penetration. Doors are fitted with vertical reinforcement panels to prevent distortion, and a return flange around the doors and joints slows the passage of flame. The cabinets are designed to comply with the Flammable Liquid Storage Regulations and Health and Safety guidance notes HSG51 and CS19 as appropriate, and meet Factory Inspectorate Certificate of Approval No.1 Parts 3 and 4. All-metal security locks are supplied with two keys.

Crucially for agrochemical storage, the base of each unit is fitted with a large-capacity removable sump to contain any spills or leaks — the secondary containment expected for liquid chemical stores. Adjustable galvanised shelves to 75mm centres are reversible so they can be used as additional drip trays.

Choosing a pesticide store

Match the cabinet to the volume you keep on site and the containment you need — the integral sump should hold the largest container you store. Site the cabinet in a cool, ventilated, frost-free area away from drains and watercourses, keep it locked, and display the correct hazard signage. Storing larger volumes or bulk containers may call for a walk-in chemical store rather than a cabinet.
