Adjustable shelves let you set the internal layout around tools, spares or high-value equipment, and selected models carry a Germ Guard anti-bacterial paint finish for hygiene-sensitive areas.
Stainless-steel cupboards are designed for food, pharmaceutical, medical and wash-down environments where damp and corrosion are a constant problem. They use ‘no-snag’ handles with two-point locking, adjustable stainless mesh shelves and a fully corrosion-resistant build, in popular footprints such as 900 × 900 × 460mm, 1200 × 900 × 460mm and 1800mm-tall variants.
Large-volume cupboards — like the Probe wardrobe-style unit at 1829 × 1220 × 457mm — give you over 1.0m³ of secure storage in a single freestanding cabinet. The wider chassis and deeper 457mm interior suit bulky kit, PPE, workwear and equipment that won't fit a slimline cupboard, with full-length lockable doors and configurable internal shelving.
Hazardous-substance cupboards sit at the COSHH end of the range: welded steel bodies with spill-retaining shelves and enclosed regulation labelling for the segregated storage of chemicals, while heavy-duty flammable units are made from 1.2mm sheet steel to HSG51 and CS19 guidance, with a return flange around doors and joints to slow flame spread. How to choose an industrial cupboard
Start with what you're storing. General tools, spares and consumables suit a standard security cupboard; chemicals and solvents need a COSHH or flammable unit; food, lab or medical settings call for stainless steel. Next, size the unit by volume and footprint — measure the floor space available and the largest item you need to fit, then choose shelf count and depth accordingly. Consider security level (a seven-lever safe lock and welded body for valuables versus a basic hasp for low-risk stores), the environment (powder-coated steel indoors, stainless or galvanised where damp or corrosive), and access — adjustable shelving earns its keep when stored items change over time.
