Klime-Ezee is a British manufacturer of mobile safety steps, access platforms and industrial stairs, made in Alfreton, Derbyshire. KC Supply is a stockist of the Klime-Ezee range, supplying the mobile warehouse steps, heavy-duty platforms and truck-dock access units used in warehouses, stockrooms, factories and retail backrooms across the UK.
The Klime-Ezee range
Klime-Ezee build to order in steel and aluminium, with punched-metal or PVC treads and a spring-loaded plunger braking system that locks the steps the moment they take weight. The core range runs from light-weight units for occasional picking through to heavy-duty industrial steps rated for constant use:

Light-Weight (KL) steps — compact, easy-to-move units for offices, shops and lighter stockroom work, from two treads upwards.

Industrial (KE) steps — the best-selling range, with a 300kg safe working load, double handrails and a wide platform for confident picking at height.

Heavy-Duty (KHD) steps — aluminium construction rated to 500kg SWL, with platform heights from roughly 1.25m up to 3.75m for tall racking.

Extra-Wide steps — broader treads and platform for carrying stock or working with both hands.

Knock-Down steps — flat-pack delivery and assembly, ideal where access or storage space is tight.

How to choose
Start with the working height you need to reach safely, then match the safe working load to the job — light-weight for occasional access, industrial 300kg for regular picking, heavy-duty 500kg for continuous use or carrying. Check the aisle width the steps must move through (the Narrow Aisle Pro is built for tight runs), and choose tread type to suit the floor: PVC treads for comfort indoors, punched-metal for grip in wet or oily areas. Klime-Ezee steps meet EN 131 Professional and their weight-reactive castor brake means they cannot roll while in use — but, as with all work-at-height equipment, they should be inspected under PUWER and the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and kept in good order.
