Choosing the right metal lockers
The right locker depends on three things: how many users you need to store for, what they're storing, and the environment the locker lives in. A factory cloakroom storing work boots and outerwear needs taller, deeper compartments than an office storing bags and valuables. A leisure-centre wet area needs a finish and base that copes with moisture. Work through user count, compartment size and environment first, then narrow by door configuration and top type.
Door configurations and nest formats
Our workplace lockers come in single, double and triple-nest formats — a "nest" is the number of columns sitting side by side in one welded body, so a 3-nest 4-tier unit gives 12 compartments in one footprint. Door counts run from 1-door full-height compartments (ideal for long coats and bulky kit) up to 16-door high-density units for maximum users per square metre. As a rule, fewer, taller doors suit outerwear and PPE; more, smaller doors suit bags, phones and valuables where you simply need to give every user a secure slot.
Tops, bases and locking
Choose between flat tops for stackable, space-efficient installs and sloping tops where you want to stop litter and dust accumulating on top of the units — a common requirement in schools and food-handling environments. Lockers are available with a range of locking options including cam locks, hasp-and-staple for the user's own padlock, and coin-return mechanisms for leisure and retail.
