Troax makes steel mesh partitioning and storage cages used across warehousing, manufacturing and machine guarding. KC Supply supplies the Troax industrial storage cage system in the UK.
A modular cage, not a fixed box
The Troax industrial storage cage is built from panels plus three hardware kits, so the same components make a small secure store or a long run of caged bays:
-
Cage Start Kit — all the hardware to build one standard cage (panels ordered separately)
-
Cage Extension Kit — one kit per additional panel where you want a deeper cage
-
Mini Cage Kit — hardware for a 1200 × 1200 mm mini cage, which also needs roof panel UX450 (1212 × 1200 mm)
Standard cage dimensions are 1200 × 1200 mm, and depth is extended by adding panels and extension kits rather than by ordering a different product. Finishes are grey RAL 7037 or hot-dip galvanised where the cage lives somewhere damp, unheated or outdoors.
Where a mesh cage is the right answer
Mesh earns its place when you need security without losing sight of the contents — high-value spares, controlled stock, tooling, calibration equipment, or anything that needs to be visible for stock checks and sprinkler coverage. It also suits areas where solid partitioning would kill light or airflow. Because Troax cages are made to order, sizes and configurations are confirmed at quotation rather than picked off a shelf.
