Choose by the weight per shelf you need, the size of the items stored, and how often they're picked. Keep within the rated load and don't be tempted to store forklift-placed pallets on shelving — that's a job for pallet racking. How do the GPC ASU trays work?
Using the handle/stop, a tray can be withdrawn and suspended from the shelf, which gives around 90% clear picking. The handle also lets trays be carried.
What do the ASU units come as?
The listed units are starter bays. Extension bays, dividers, handles/stops and extra or replacement trays are available; call for details.
How does SSI Schaefer R3000 go together?
It uses a bolt-less lug system, with solid steel deck shelves fitted onto pre-punched posts without beams, so shelves can be repositioned easily.
What finishes and accessories does R3000 have?
Galvanised or painted steel, with bins, dividers, drawers, doors, solid or wire mesh panels, floor rails and label holders available.
Is R3000 made to order?
Yes. The product listing says R3000 systems are manufactured to order, allowing 30 to 45 days for production and shipping.
Can I store pallets on shelving?
No. Keep within the rated load and do not store forklift-placed pallets on shelving; that is a job for pallet racking.
