IBC spill pallets — also called IBC containment pallets or IBC bunds — sit beneath a 1,000 litre intermediate bulk container and catch leaks, drips and tank failures before they reach the drain. If you store oils, chemicals or other pollutants in IBCs, UK pollution prevention rules expect secondary containment, and an IBC pallet is the simplest way to provide it.

Moulded fork pockets allow easy positioning by forklift or pallet truck, and the platform presents the IBC valve at a workable dispensing height. Where you need more than an open pallet — outdoor storage, dispensing stations or higher-risk liquids — the GPC IBC storage unit combines a steel frame with a deep sump base, giving the IBC a dedicated, contained housing rather than a bare bund.
Choosing an IBC pallet
Check three things before you buy. First, sump capacity against the containment rule: the bund should hold at least 110% of the largest container or 25% of the total stored, whichever is greater — with a full 1,000 L IBC, that means the 110% figure normally governs.
