Tilting skips collect swarf, offcuts and general waste at the point it's produced, then tip it into the main bin or skip without anyone shovelling. The range
The GPC Mobile Tilting Skip (SK201Y, with an internal-drain version SK202Y for wet waste) rolls on two 150 mm swivel castors and two 200 mm fixed wheels, with a tubular mesh handle for manoeuvring and a safety catch that prevents accidental tipping — the failure mode that matters most on a hand-moved skip.
The Heavy Duty Tilting Skips step up to forklift territory: 250, 500, 1,000, 1,200 and 1,500 litre capacities on a reinforced chassis, with an optional factory-fitted 580 mm mesh top cage for bulky loads. A forklift is needed for offloading these.
The Tilting Skip Trucks (500 and 1,000 litre, mobile or static) are CE marked and plated, fully welded, with side-entry fork pockets, a positive skip lock and integral sideguards enclosing the tip skid — the right choice for swarf and heavier waste streams handled daily.
Choosing capacity
Match the skip to the waste rate, not the biggest number: a 1,500-litre skip of wet swarf can exceed what your truck should lift, and litres of capacity aren't kilograms of load.
