Weigh scale pallet trucks combine a standard hand pallet truck with integrated load cells, so you weigh a pallet at the point of pick or dispatch without a separate platform scale or a trip to the weighbridge. For goods-in checking, outgoing consignment weights and stock control, that saves a handling step on every load.
The GPC VULCAN Premium Weigh Scale Pallet Truck we stock conforms to EN 1757-2, is CE marked and plated, and reads to a high accuracy of ±0.1% in 0.5kg increments, with the weight shown on an electronic display on the tiller. It runs on 180 x 50mm polyurethane steering wheels with 74 x 70mm tandem load rollers, and the forks raise to 200mm and lower to 85mm.
Rated to IP65, the load cells and electronics are water- and dust-protected, so the truck can be used outdoors, on lorries, and washed down under normal-pressure water — useful in food, cold-store and wet processing environments. The rechargeable battery gives roughly 70–80 hours of use and recharges from the mains in about four hours (cable included).
