Do you need the base?

Yes if the cage sits on a surface that is not itself secure, or if the contents are small enough to pass under a frame. The base also lets you lift and relocate the cage as a unit. No if it is bolted to a concrete floor inside a locked building and the contents are bulky, in which case our other Grenadier cages cost less.

How does this compare with the lock up cage?

Our Grenadier Lock Up Security Cage comes with a galvanised roof and hasp and staple locking, assembled from 50 x 50mm mesh panels, and is the larger walk-in style option.
