6-Door Lockers

A 6-door locker packs six compartments into a single full-height bay, making it one of the most space-efficient ways to give a large number of people their own secure storage. It's a go-to for big changing rooms, schools, leisure centres and high-turnover workplaces where headcount is high and floor space is tight.

These UK-made Probe lockers are available in flat-top and sloping-top styles, in double and triple-width nests, and with perforated doors for ventilation where damp kit and PPE are stored. Bodies are cold-rolled mild steel with a powder-coated finish and a Type A cam lock on every compartment as standard.

Six-door units suit short-stay, high-frequency use — somewhere to stow a bag and valuables rather than hang a full-length coat. If users need more room per compartment, step down to 2 or 4-door; for the highest density, see 8, 10 and 16-door configurations.

6 tier, 6 door, 6 compartment — the same thing

Locker terminology is inconsistent across the trade, and it makes specifying harder than it needs to be. A 6 tier locker, a 6 door locker and a 6 compartment locker all describe the same thing: 6 individually lockable compartments stacked in a single column.

• Tier counts the levels in one column — so every listing on this page is 6 tier.
• Nest counts the columns joined side by side. A nest of 2 is what we list as double width; a nest of 3 is triple width; a nest of 1 is single width.
• Bank is the complete assembled unit as delivered. A 6 tier, nest of 3 is a 18-compartment bank.

Nested columns share internal carcass walls, which is why the cost per compartment falls as the nest widens — you buy one set of ends rather than three. It also means a nest cannot be split later, so plan the full run before ordering.
