Climb-It Folding Telescopic Large Platform Steps

The Owner's Insights on the Folding Telescopic Steps

Two features doing two different jobs here. The telescopic legs adjust, which means the steps stand level on a surface that is not, and that covers a lot of real buildings: sloping yards, worn floors, stairs landings. The folding action means they store flat when the job is done.

A large platform rather than a top tread. If someone is going to be up there for more than a minute, platform area is what determines whether the job gets done properly or rushed.

Honest note on telescopic access equipment generally: more adjustment means more moving parts, and moving parts need checking. These want including in your regular access equipment inspections rather than being treated as a fit-and-forget item.

Why You'll Love these Folding Telescopic Steps

• Telescopic legs: adjust to stand level on sloping or uneven surfaces instead of rocking on three feet.
• Folds for storage: stores flat against a wall rather than occupying a bay between uses.
• Large working platform: room to stand and work properly rather than balancing on a top tread.
• One unit covers several situations: the adjustment range means it works in places a fixed-height set of steps will not.

Why You Should Consider Climb-It Access Equipment

Climb-It certify their access range to EN 131 Professional, the workplace duty rating, rather than mixing trade and domestic standards model by model. For equipment carrying people, consistency across a supplier's range removes a check from every order.

Folding Telescopic Platform Steps Specifications

Telescopic or fixed height steps?

Telescopic if the steps move between locations with different surfaces, or if your floors are genuinely uneven. Fixed height if the steps live in one place on flat concrete, because fewer moving parts means less to inspect and less to go wrong. Do not buy adjustment you will set once and never touch.

What does EN 131 Professional mean?

EN 131 is the European standard for ladders and steps, split into Professional for workplace use and Non-Professional for domestic. Professional involves more demanding strength and durability testing. Steps used at work should carry it. We are confirming the certification on this specific model with GPC.
