Count the distinct sizes and materials you actually keep, not the ones you might. Three bays suits a workshop holding a few stock sizes. Eight suits a fabricator separating multiple sections and grades. Under-buying is the common mistake, because mixed bays defeat the purpose and people end up stacking on the floor again.

Economy or premium rack?

Both are welded. The premium rack is larger, bolted and welded, and supplied flatpack with a deeper structure. This economy version is the right choice for lighter stock and smaller runs, and we will tell you if your material warrants stepping up rather than selling you the cheaper one.
