Fully enclosed drum stores are the secure option in the range — lockable steel units for storing 205-litre drums outside, or anywhere security matters. UK-manufactured by GPC Industries, they come in six configurations: vertical stores for 1, 2 or 4 drums (DH241Z, DH242Z, DH244Z) and horizontal dispensing stores for 1, 2 or 4 drums (DH201Z, DH202Z, DH204Z).
Built for outdoor, secure storage
Every unit is fully screened with doors on 3-point locking — single-drum stores have one door, 2 and 4-drum stores have two. Doors carry high and low-level venting, so vapours don't accumulate inside the store while the contents stay out of sight and under lock. Vertical units are fitted with galvanised grid floors; horizontal units have an open-topped sump beneath the drum cradles to catch drips from tap dispensing. Note that a forklift is needed to unload these units on delivery.
Vertical or horizontal?
Choose vertical for sealed drums awaiting use — bungs up, compact footprint. Choose horizontal where you dispense by gravity from a tap: the cradle-and-sump layout is the same arrangement as our open horizontal drum stores, enclosed and lockable. If you only need weather protection without security, covered drum storage does that for less; inside a building, open vertical drum storage keeps things simple. Our covered & enclosed drum stores guide compares the options unit by unit.
