Forklift Training Centres in Leicester

Leicester sits where the M1 meets the M69, inside the stretch of the East Midlands that distribution companies have been filling with warehouses for decades. Its forklift training has grown up around that demand. The centres here are on the south side of the city and at Braunstone Frith in the west, and two of the three below also train lorry drivers or run a second centre in Birmingham. Each one has premises you can attend, recognised accreditation, and a long record of good reviews from past trainees.

GTR Training Services

GTR has spent more than 28 years training operators and runs sessions Monday to Saturday from its centre on Dartford Road. Training is one-to-one, and the centre holds ITSSAR and NPORS accreditation.

DW Forklift Training

The Leicester branch of DW Forklift Training on Morris Road is run by the same RTITB-qualified team as its Birmingham centre, and keeps longer hours than most, opening on Sundays as well as through the week.

Data Academy

Data Academy is best known for HGV and LGV licences, but its Braunstone Frith site includes an indoor forklift school laid out with real racking, so reach and counterbalance trainees learn among the kind of aisles they'll go on to work in. It holds ITSSAR accreditation.

Address: 153 Scudamore Road, Braunstone Frith Industrial Estate, Leicester LE3 1UQ
