Climb-It Access Steps & Towers

The Climb-It® range from GPC Industries covers the full spread of industrial access equipment — from mobile safety steps to aluminium work towers — all UK-manufactured and built for daily warehouse and factory use rather than occasional DIY.

What's in the Climb-It range

Mobile safety steps — certified to EN 131 Professional, from compact warehouse essentials steps up to 15-tread warehouse steps with a handlock mechanism that engages or disengages the front castors, so the steps are mobile when you push them and static when you climb. Weight-reactive versions ground themselves automatically on spring-loaded castors as soon as body weight is applied, and safety-lock models raise and lower all four wheels with one action.

Platform steps — large platform folding steps and folding telescopic steps with 510 x 560mm non-slip aluminium platforms, kick boards and spring-gated enclosures; extra-large platform versions add extendable, adjustable stabilisers for difficult working conditions.

Work platforms — tubular steel single and twin inline platforms with 800 x 800mm chequer-plate decks and adjustable feet for uneven floors, plus Easy Slope work platforms for longer jobs at a fixed height.

Aluminium towers — Flexi, Extenda, Ultra and UniPro towers with 1550 x 600mm platforms, tool-free assembly and heights up to 8.1m; Extenda towers are certified to BS EN 1004.

Choosing from the range

Match the equipment to the working height and frequency: steps for picking and short tasks, platforms for repeated work at one height, towers for maintenance and installation work. All work-at-height equipment should be inspected regularly under PUWER and the Work at Height Regulations.
